Download the app and start: every feature works for seven days without an account. Sign in with a confirmed email address and the trial runs to fourteen days from the same start — registering on day six gives eight more days, on day ten four. No card is asked for. A new version of the app can be tried for seven days of its own, so a trial in September does not stop you trying what comes in March.

No. An account only extends the trial and makes a licence easy to move to another Mac. The app works fully without one while the trial or licence runs.

Nothing. They are ordinary files on your Mac, in the format they came in — every other program still opens them. Intact CSV Editor never locks a file into a format of its own, and it goes on opening, reading, sorting, filtering, querying, charting and exporting them after the trial; only editing and saving over a file wait for a licence.

Files never need the network. The licence is checked now and then and keeps working in between. A Mac that has not been online for a fortnight goes on reading and exporting, and edits again as soon as it has asked once.
